David Printis founded De-U Records and Edu-basics in 1999. His goal was to provide fun, interactive ways to expose a new generation of kids to the basic subjects that are important to the continual success of students throughout school. David’s first CD, Multiplication Hip Hop, was recorded at De-U Records and it’s success and accolades led what we see today; four CD’s, educational concerts, national recognition, and the knowledge that he has helped over 300,000 kids learn their basics.
Edu-Basics videos received accolades for giving toddlers & elementary school children a way to experience math, science and grammar in a way they can relate to. Nine years, 5 videos and 300,000 educational cd’s later, David is poised to become a mogul in a new genre of education and music.

Our Philosophy
In 1999, Edu-Basics was founded by David Printis, a dad who needed a new approach with helping his kids learn the multiplication table. His intent was to create a product that offered an interactive experience and spoke to this new plugged in, heavily pop culture influenced generation. With that in mind came the first in a series of fun and entertaining educational music cd’s, the original Multiplication Hip Hop.
Edu-Basics has grown over the years and is the innovator in a new genre of educational music.
